First of all what is Buddyfight?
Buddyfight is Trading card game that bushiroad officially announced on June 2013,
Well lets to the point here, if you have the cards or deck on your possesion just simply prepare it and lets play following this tutorial step by step to knowing better about Buddyfight.
For you who dont want to see tutorial with all text and photo, i suggest to see this video tutorial for more easy way to teach you.
Preparation :
Playmat.

Impact
1. First prepare the paper mat for playing.
2. Put your Flag down like on the photo.
3. Select a buddy from your deck and put it down too.
4. Shuffle the deck and draw 6 cards.
5. Send 2 card from top of your deck to gauge with face down
6. Both player will play a game scissors stone paper to decide who will go first.
7. Each player start with 10 life, and player with 0 life is lose.
8. If everything already ready then both player can raise the flag and start the game.
Game Flow :
Start Phase
- Stand all your monsters in rest
- Draw 1 from the deck(First player do not draw during his/her first turn)
- Send 1 card from your hand into the gauge and draw 1 from the deck (Not compulsory)
Main phase
Players may do any of the below in any sequence and any amount of time.
- Call a monster from your hand. * Each player can only have a total of 3 points on each field*
Buddy Call
1. Player may do a Buddy call once per game. Player call the Buddy onto the area and place the same card from your hand onto the Buddy zone in rest.(Do remember to pay the cost if needed) By doing a buddy call player will get a Buddy gift (heal 1)
2) Cast a spell from your hand
3) Equip an item (player may replace existing item by equiping a new one) Player can only equip 1 item at all time.
4) Using an [Activate] skill.
Attack phase
1) Select your attacking monster or item and rest them. Player may select 2 monsters(or item) and do a link attack. By doing a link attack the total Power of the 2 selected monsters(or item) will be combined. *Take note that Item cannot attack if there's a creature in your center*
2) Player will than select the target of the attack(Player or Monsters). Players can only select another player as an target if his/her center is empty. In the case where the attack hits the player, the player's Life counter will decrease according to the attacking POW.
3) If an attack hits another monster and the attacking monster's POWER is equal or greater than the defending Monster's DEF, the monster will be destroyed and send to the Drop zone.
Link Attack
When attacking a Monster with very high defence player may rest 2 or more Monsters or item to perform an Link Attack! The rested monsters/item will have their power combined into 1 attack.
*First player can only attack once during his/her first turn*
*Counter step* Player may use spell cards with [Counter] during your opponent's turn attack phase.
*You can only play 1 counter card at a time*
5) If the player have any other Monster/ Item in stand, player may repeat Step 1 of the Attack phase.
Final phase
Player may activate the Impact card during this phase. In the case where a player do not use any impact card, the turn will end.
Special skills
Soul guard: When a monster with Soul guard is destroyed, you can revive it by sending a soul into drop zone. If an effect were to send your monster with Soul Guard back to hand or deck is used, you may send the soul into drop zone to protect it.
Penetrate: If a monster with Penetrate were to destroy a monster in the Center area, damage will be dealt to the opponent player!!
Double attack: When a monster with this skill attacks for the first time it will be turn back to the stand position.
Move: Special monsters with this skill is able to move itself onto the Center area during the start of your's or your opponent's Attack phase
